Course Overview
Designing Web Pages with FrontPage 98, Part 1 is a two-day hands-on class designed
to teach students how to create Web pages using FrontPage 98. Students will
learn about HTML and how to create Web pages using HTML tags. They will then
learn how to create Web pages in the WYSIWYG environment of FrontPage Editor,
the page design component of FrontPage 98. Students will use FrontPage Editor
to create an entire Web. Along the way, they will learn how to change the appearance
of text by adding bold, italics, colors, font faces, heading styles and many
more text editing features. They will also learn how to change the appearance
of whole documents, such as adding background colors and images. Students will
examine a variety of techniques for inserting and editing images. They will
learn how to create hypertext links, links from images and image maps. Finally,
students will insert tables and edit their appearance.
Who Should Attend This Course
This course is designed for those who have only a basic knowledge of Web page
creation and want to create professional-looking Web sites.
Prerequisites
Prior experience with a graphical user interface such as Macintosh or Windows
is required as is experience with a Macintosh or Windows-based word processing
program, such as Microsoft Word. General knowledge of the Internet is helpful.
